Chris Jagger’s is an English musician and actor who is rooted in a rich blend of musical artistry, storytelling, and philanthropy that spans decades and continents. Over his career, he has released more than a dozen albums exploring blues, folk, country, Cajun, and roots music, collaborating with celebrated musicians including his brother Mick Jagger, David Gilmour, Charlie Hart, and members of the Rolling Stones touring band. Chris has performed globally, including extensive tours across Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, and is recognised for his vibrant live shows and eclectic instrumentation—often incorporating guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and washboard.
Beyond music, Chris has worked as a journalist and broadcaster, contributing to The Daily Telegraph and The Guardian, and producing documentary content. His memoir Talking To Myself (2021) offers a candid and humorous account of life in the Jagger household, his creative journey, and the music industry from a unique perspective.
Chris has also been active in philanthropy, participating in fundraising events for brain health, children’s cancer research, and dementia awareness. His cycling and running challenges in support of neuroscience causes highlight his personal commitment to improving brain health outcomes.
With a deep family connection to Australia through his mother, born in Marrickville, NSW, Chris has developed strong ties to the country—touring regionally, celebrating his heritage through storytelling and song, and engaging with local communities.
